Got the fever...

...that only more Tokarevs can cure. I always wanted to try my hand loading this cartridge, picked up a Romanian last year and
started ignoring my .45. Got wife a Norinco 9mm conversion; looking at a third for "parts". May have to get a forth and fifth too...
just can't have enough parts!

Congrats! These Toks can be addictive. How well does that muzzle compensator work for you? iS there much difference than without it?

I've seen similar looking grips on Amazon for about $20 and wooden ones from Marschal Grips . . . http://www.marschalgrips.com/tt33wr/tt33wr.htm that can run $100. Got myself one of those compensators yesterday. It won't fit either of my Romanian Toks. Will need to do a little bit of fitting to the compensator. I'm also interested in if they do anything other than make the gun longer and heavier.

What I like most about the comps is the added slide weight: the brass isn't thrown so far and the tendency of the firing pin housing to get "peened" from the hammer is lessened. The grips took a little filing to accommodate the safety. https://www.bonanza.com/listings/Polyme ... T5EALw_wcB
